BREAKING: Edison’s Julius Gillick Commits to Fresno State

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Edison High School’s standout running back, Julius Gillick, has announced his commitment to Fresno State University on Friday night, opting to stay in California for his collegiate career. Gillick made the decision following his decommitment from Montana last month.

The 2024 JPWest Media Player of the Year, Gillick had a remarkable senior season, appearing in 15 of the Chargers’ 16 games. He rushed for an impressive 2,488 yards on 302 carries, scoring 37 touchdowns along the way.

Gillick played a pivotal role in leading Edison to its first-ever state championship in 2024, cementing his legacy as one of the program’s all-time greats.
