BREAKING: USC Set to Travel to San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl vs TCU

The Valero Alamo Bowl has officially selected the USC Trojans (9-3, 7-2 Big Ten) to face the TCU Horned Frogs (8-4, 5-4 Big 12) on Tuesday, December 30, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. CT and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

This marks USC’s first-ever appearance in the Alamo Bowl and the Trojans’ third consecutive postseason victory bid after winning the 2023 Holiday Bowl and 2024 Las Vegas Bowl. The Trojans closed the regular season with a 29-10 win over UCLA and will look to secure the program’s first 10-win season since 2017.

TCU returns to the Alamo Bowl for the second time in three years, having routed Louisiana 34-3 in the 2023 edition.

The only previous meeting between the two programs came in the 1998 Sun Bowl, a 28-19 TCU victory.
