LOTY: Jayden Pershall Makes History as the First JPWest Media Lineman of the Year

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – The inaugural JPWest Media Lineman of the Year trophy is heading to South Huntington Beach, as Edison Chargers senior Jayden Pershall has been named its first recipient.

Pershall began the season as the team’s right guard in their matchup against Clovis West but transitioned to center for the remainder of the year. His contributions were instrumental in paving the way for Edison running back Julius Gillick, who rushed for over 2,300 yards this season.

Now, Jayden Pershall and the Edison Chargers are set to travel south to Saddleback College this Saturday for a 3:30 PM showdown against the Central Grizzlies from Fresno, CA. The game will be broadcast live on Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum News 1.
