The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has released its Week 7 Top 25 poll for the 2026 NCAA Division I baseball season, with the UCLA Bruins remaining the unanimous No. 1 team for the fourth consecutive week.

The Bruins went 4-0 last week, improving to 21-2 overall. They sit atop the Big Ten Conference with a perfect 9-0 record and have now won 15 games in a row. Texas holds steady at No. 2, followed by Georgia Tech (No. 3), Mississippi State (No. 4), and Auburn (No. 5).

A standout mover in this week’s poll is crosstown rival USC, which surged five spots from No. 17 to No. 12. The Trojans boast a Division I-high 24 wins against just one loss (24-1 record) and an 8-1 mark in Big Ten play. Other notable risers include Big 12 leader West Virginia (No. 21 to No. 15) and Oregon (No. 22 to No. 17). Four teams that received votes in Week 6 — Ole Miss, Arizona State, Tennessee, and Alabama — cracked the Top 25 this week.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) continues to dominate with a season-high-tying 11 teams in the rankings, while the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) placed six. The Big Ten has three representatives, including UCLA, USC, and Oregon. Overall, six conferences plus independent Oregon State are represented in the first seven polls of 2026.
