Special teams played a pivotal role as well, with the Oilers scoring two electrifying kickoff return touchdowns—Micah Riola sprinted 92 yards, and Troy Foster followed with a 90-yard return. Defensively, the Oilers were bolstered by Steel Kurtz, who added to the scoreboard with a 21-yard pick-six.

On the other side, the Trabuco Hills Mustangs are looking to replicate their success from last season, where they jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter against the Oilers and ultimately secured a 31-28 victory. This year, the Mustangs have announced a change at quarterback, with San Juan Hills transfer Tristan Zale, a junior, set to start under center.

PREDICTION: Huntington Beach wins in a offensive thriller 42-35
