BREAKING: CIFSS chooses LA Colliseum as Host for Division 1 Championship

ORANGE COUNTY, CA- The CIFSS has officially selected a site to host the CIFSS Division 1 Championship, and it’s located 17 miles south of last year’s venue at the Rose Bowl. The event will now take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which is celebrating its 100th season.

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has a rich history, having hosted the first Super Bowl, the USC Trojans, and multiple Olympic Games, including the upcoming 2028 Olympics.

In the previous season, at the Rose Bowl, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco faced off in the 2022 CIFSS Championship Game, which turned into an intense Trinity League battle. St. John Bosco emerged victorious with a score of 24-22. It’s expected to be a rematch once again, with the winner earning the opportunity to advance to the CIF State Open Championship at Saddleback College.

Mark your calendars for the CIFSS Division 1 Championship, set to take place on Friday, November 24th, at 7 pm on Bally Sports So Cal.
