BREAKING: Huntington Beach Alum, Hagen Danner called up by Toronto

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA- Danner has finally reached the big leagues, after getting selected in the 2nd round by Toronto in the 2017 Draft as a catcher. However in 2020 that all changed, as he switched positions to go back to pitcher.

Hagen earned his Triple A call up just a few months ago back in May from Double A and has thrown in 23 games starting 1 while throwing a 3.81 ERA

Being in the spotlight though isn’t new for Hagen Danner, first showing what he can do by helping Ocean View Little League back in 2011 reach the Little League World Series and win the Little League World Series.

Back in 2017, Hagen Danner was named the Sunset League Athlete of the Year while helping the Oilers reach the CIFSS Baseball Quarterfinals.
