Preview: Oilers and the Bruins set for their 6th straight matchup dating back to 2016 (Not including COVID season). Huntington Beach leading the 5 game series 3-2. Oilers, winning 2 in a row back in 2016 and 2017 and hoping to repeat that same outcome against Wilson to start 3-0 for the first time in program history since 2006 when they started the season 4-0.

Last week, Oilers offense came to life. Huge part of that was last week’s JPWest Media Player of the Week Daunte Bell’s 1st half performance scoring 2 rushing touchdowns in the 2nd quarter. As well as 1 passing touchdown on the 1st drive. Putting Huntington on top of Summit in a 26-7.

However for the Long Beach Wilson Bruins it was different getting shutout by Redondo Union 33-0.

Prediction: Huntington Beach takes a 4-2 series lead and improves to 3-0 for the first time since 2006 with a massive win over Long Beach Wilson 49-3.
